This series depicts a part of the most glorious & mightiest mountain range on planet earth: “The Himalayas”. While capturing this ethereal giants there were many challenges due to uncertain changes in weather. The only way to shoot it was patience. It’s truly a masterpiece of nature, as there was an ample amount of mist only the top was visible. Despite of low visibility they're flabbergasting.
This series was shot from a boat cruising through the Gulf Of Tonkin, which is situated between Vietnam & China. It consists of 1600 islands & islets with towering limestones across it. The series depicts exquisite landscape in the midst of the sea, gloomy weather & soft drizzling makes it more dramatic & picturesque.
When observed, the shape of islands & clouds form into various creatures. According to the Vietnamese & Chinese mythology this place is also the first place where dragons were born & reigned this part of the world before they departed to other locations.
